Thanks to all our Oklahoma Friends, it was great to see you at the Lone Star Corvette Classic once again! Congratulations on all the awards you won and please consider this as your first invitation to come back next year to an even greater Classic!
BTW, I got on the NASCAR track for the first time in about 3 years and really enjoyed it. It was parade laps, but got up to decent speed and it was good to be on the track again. The good thing was very short wait times and after lunch I went 3 times in 25 minutes!
We look forward to coming to Norman for your great "Toys For Tots" show on June 16th, the fourth in a row for some of us! See you on the 15th, then we'll clean up our Vettes and go to Ted's Escondido.

Great Weekend as usual. The Friday Nite Dinner Cruise was great. I headed home early on Sunday to see my Dad recovering from a triple bypass. Next year I wanna ride with you on the road course for sure. The LSCC is great fun and always well run. See ya in June!

You are welcome but the pleasure is all ours. The NCCO swept every class we entered - Five for Five!

Hope you can make the NCCO Show as well!

How many cars did they have registered this year. What was the speed this year on the oval track, still about 70 mph last the last few years?

The speed was about the same but folks stayed closer together and there was no wait time between groups. I was in the second group to go at about 8:15 and left at 9:30, had six times in the tract in that hour and 15 minutes never had to get out of the car and wait, I hope that was because it was more organized and not because they had less people.

Didn't try the oval. The infield road course was a great time though. Finally gave it a shot!

I don't know the car total yet, but will let you know when I find out.

I got to 95+ a few times on the oval, without dropping back. Just had to be from the middle to the back of the group.

Didn't do the road course because I didn't have the track brakes on.

It was a great weekend, from Friday night's cruise thru the Sunday track events. Andy Pilgrim's short talk at the Saturday banquet was one of my favorite parts!

Mrs Fox was watching the speedo - 92 was our highest on the oval. We did four runs from 8:15 to 9 AM.

Amazing event as always! Major props to the club members who managed to keep things under control during the track day. I had a total blast even with one off track excursion (no damage) on the road course. I'm pretty sure camping on the road course all day has cost me a set of brake pads but it was well worth it!
