This weekend is mothers day so I figure a lot of folks would be unable to make it this Friday.

So how about a couple of weeks from now on the 17th?

Rivercity Raceway on I 10 its about an hour and change from Austin.

I figure we could caravan down as a group.

Its $15 bucks to run and $10 to watch, so it would be $25 for you and the GF.

So where are the rest of you wingnuts at?

Caution:

There is a red early 90s HB NA Civic running high 11s with DRs. It is red and does not look all riced out. This thing is a sleeper. It was the one that ran in the 11s at the SnapOn event last weekend. No need for us to have our very own SW Mitchell Davidson thread going here.

I have no animosity towards any car guys whether they be the blue oval crowd or the Supra crowd or anyone else for that matter.

There are car guys/gals and then there is everyone else.

I'm referring to the riced out high school crowd that shows up with all the neon and Baron Von Rickthoven wings and LED tail pipes.

You know, the wannabe's who show up talk noise and then run 16's. :rolleyes:

I have several friends with 10 second civics, 9 second stangs etc and I tease them all unmercifully. :p:

Besides, I'll be too busy smack talking with Wes to pay them much attention. :lol:

Just didnt want to see this happen..not that it would, but if it happened once, it can happen again. I guess I still have some admiration for the import crowd. I worked for Honda for 3 years and yes...even had a lower tricked out Honda (I lost 150HP because I didnt have the sticker MOD package). My vette has been my first domestic car since my 72 LeMans when I was 17.
