FS: Max Effort Cam and Valvetrain setup new in box
I've decided to go forced induction instead of doing a max-effort LS2 cam setup.
This entire setup was custom specced by the LS Cam Guru, Pat G, following in the footsteps of his previous cam/valvetrain setup that produced 503rwhp on a stock-head LS2 car only this cam is even larger.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/sout...s-503rwhp.html
The goal of this cam was a max-effort setup retaining stock heads and stock cubes of an LS2. An LS3 will require flycutting.
Following prices include shipping
$350 - 238/242 110lsa .603/.615 (EPS/LXL lobes) (includes cam card)
$SOLD - Patriot Gold Dual .650 with titanium retainers
$SOLD - Yella Terra 1.7 Ultralite shaft-mount Rockers
$345 - Fast #57 injectors (large enough to run E85 on this setup if desired)
$125 - Manton 11/32" 7.465 pushrods
$SOLD - Katech C5-R Timing Chain
$ 30 - LS2 Basic Cam-Swap Gasket set
$ 5 - New GM Crank Bolt
This cam will make SERIOUS power and absolutely scream. It was specced to take down the top Cam-Only C6 spot and requires no fly-cutting. It is to be used with stock heads and stock head gaskets. I asked to spec the biggest cam that could fit in stock heads.
Every single item is brand new in the box, never opened, still shrink-wrapped
The Manton pushrods are the best you can get and the largest that fit in a stock LS2 to keep all deflection from happening that occurs in the smaller, weaker 5/16" pushrods.
If you want a big, mean cam, this is the deal for you to save a few hundred bucks on what is a complete setup.

Katech Chain is now sold
Just sort of decided that I didn't want to rag out the vette. My firebird that I had before the C6 was a heavily cammed/geared/stalled car and it got frustrating and annoying to drive at times. I don't want this car to follow in the same footsteps.
I plan on keeping the vette for at least 2-3 more years and would rather have power on tap that kept most of the civility of the car. I did get a good deal though through TPS Motorsports and a small side deal that will be happening after it arrives.
