Default Ford Escape gas mileage??
Does anyone here know the "real world" gas mileage of the Ford Escape?

wife had a mercury mariner pretty much the same thing. It was decent but nothing to write home about. I think she averaged around 20.

I have had two Escape's and they get about 20 mpg with combined highway and city. Great cars I have liked both of mine.

I ve got a 03 escape for my DD. It's very efficient on the highway, i get more than 23 mpg! In the city I get around 18-19 mpg. Nice cars overall!!
