If you go south through Driftwood/Wimberly down to Canyon Lake, that's a pretty nice ride...

So curious - how fast did the "leisurely" group go?

I was at the end of the 1st group and never got above 70-80 except on the straight going into Marble Falls.

I like this one. How do you control the camera with it outside the car? Start recording before you start driving or remote?

I wanted to get behind him on PR4 but it didn't work out.

That is a good drive and worth consideration. Thanks for the input.

Larry, the GoPro cameras with a 32GB SD card in them will record the whole trip. You can get about 10mins per GB. I have two of these cameras. I brought one but I never got around to putting it on the car. Maybe next time. I am going to order the 3D setup for my two cameras.

Default Suggestions

I only have the suggestion, let's do it more often due to the many different schedules and many that cannont attend a certain date. Also, although we are in the nice parts of the year, there are still the stormy weekends that are off, so maybe a Bi-weekly cruise to different parts would be nice during the spring/summer? The cruise details are fine where they are IMO, there are various roads that can basically do the same trip but with different scenery, but how nice the paving is on those roads I don't know. ANd being from Waco, I'd have to look at the map as a what goes into Austin.
I do know Marble Falls has the Bluebonnet Cafe that is really good and can seat many. Luckenbach sounds great as well since I have been in Texas most of my life and never been

Pretty slow, if you want my opinion. I was bringing up the rear position (no wise cracks) and the wife never screamed "slow down" at me once.

The average speeds were pretty slow, 54 mph & 60 mph... but we had our moments.

You were in my way the whole time. On that road there is nowhere to pass.

Thanks for the consideration. I also agree with the Sundays as well. A general mix during the season should provide many happy DRIVERS
Although I'm a Waco Native, I look forward to meeting so many of you members as well as some of the "OTHER" exotic car owners
