Why not shoot for a date with a better guarantee for cooler weather as opposed to a summer date?

I'm all for a thrid event! The more the merrier... That being said, I'd love one in the winter especially since I am a pale white guy that got burnt to a crisp at the last March event I attended

Texas Mile Event Course
For this event is there a drive and if so from where to where. I am in El Paso and definately would be interested in an across the state event.
