Anyone in Houston want my old engine (for free)?

I pulled the engine (350) that was in my '81 shortly after I bought the car. It was leaking in several places and was of indeterminate mileage, so I swapped it out for a crate engine.

I pulled the heads out of curiosity, and it had been rebuilt with flat top pistons, and had gunk clabbering up the water passages in the heads. So what I'm saying is, it's not in that great of shape, but it ran when I pulled it out.

It's taking up space in my garage now, I'd give it away if anyone was interested, or wanted to make the drive to Kingwood with your pickup or a trailer to cash it in for the scrap value, I don't have the time to deal with it myself.

i would be interested, i teach auto tech at atascocita hs not to far from you.....

could use it in class, trying to get my supply of engines on engine stands built up

Cool deal, that would be perfect. If you are in Atascocita regularly that's about 15 minutes from my driveway.

Like I said, the heads are off, but I have all the head bolts and pushrods in a box. You're welcome to it.

I'll PM you my cell #, I'm home most evenings after 6:30 or so and most weekends too.
