Are there any muffler/speed shops that fabricate X pipe for C5 in the OKC area? Or is the best solution to order one of the Maganflow,Corsa,Bassani or such and get correct fitment? I want to get rid of the H pipe and motorboat sound, but don't want replace factory mufflers. I did have the muffler bypass mod done and it does sound better, but sill the motorboat! Thanks

Thanks for the info. Performance Muffler in Norman installed a tru X pipe today. Doug did a quality job. He drops the exhaust system from the manifold to the cross over and welds the x pipe in...no clamps.
Glad to get rid of the factory H pipe. Lot better exhaust sound at tailpipes.
Recommend Performance Muffler for quality and excellent price.

I am thinking about doing the same thing. Problem is I am in McAlester. Can they do this in a day or would I need to leave my car with them over night? Depending on the answer, I may do this when I get home from the sand. Cost?

They work pretty fast. I think they did CD's cutouts right there while he waited.
