ok well i just moved here and i gotta say i hate texas it sucks compared to fl. but whatever the emissions thing is a bunch of crap they want me to fix my vette or i cant get it registered. not only that but i had some cop bitch because it was too loud. i was a cop in fl and i must say the cops out here suck. not only that but texas is ass backwards you have to register your vehicle before they let you get your license???? wtf? not only that but they take your good one give you a crappy piece of paper and you have to wait for the new one to come in the mail wtf?
anyway enough with my rant is there anything to do car wise around here cus im bored off my ass.

El paso has a good SCCA club with a good AX and RR events. I attend a event in 08 that was alot of fun. Pretty far drive for me here in lubbock though. Your right Texas plate, inspection, and registration laws suck.
Well, once you're past Odessa on I-20 you can cruise at 80 and the LEOs won't give you so much as a glance since it's the legal speed limit. Don't think there's any interstates in FL that allow that. Also, you didn't exactly move to the most scenic part of the state, but it still has its charms if you look for them.
