Hey everyone some friends and I are going to Dallas Raceway on 9/5. Come out and join us, from what I hear the track has excellent traction and is a nice facility. The track opens at 4:00 pm and racing will start around 5:00 pm or later.
that track is hands down the best up here...all concrete, cold bathrooms, and hooks awesome...will never go back to ennis
Nor will I. The personnel, track prep, no roll cage hassles, Dallas Raceway beats Tx Mtrplx hands down in all areas Heck they even have an ATM & Game Room, how cool is that.
Ask PREZ06 about how bad the track was at ennis his last time out
If it ain't a big NHRA money making event, Tx Mtrplx could care less about track prep.

Got BFG road tires on but it still does alright [ better than the driver anyway ].
Last raced at TMS Scion arm drop and got nailed by a 2008 Shelby Cobra Super Snake w/510 blown horses .
Nothin wrong with those supercars , they got bite !
I have to check on getting some of those stick ons for the fenders cause getting that VHT and rubber off is a pain !
Any one know about those clear stick on sheets or who sells them ?

Had a great time last nite Thanks to those who showed up. Although I didn't get a new personal best, it was a blast to stretch my Z's legs. Car did great, driver needs more seat time. My best was a 11.51 @124.25. Looking forward to a GTG there again.

I have the same problem lots of driver errors last night, need more practice!!! (excuse to go back to that nice track!) Yes those drag radials make a big difference. Still lots of fun can't wait for nice cool weather change of the fall.
I saw you all out there and those were some pretty vette's. I enjoyed the night and too need to practice. My Pewter targa car wth a mild build needs some drag radials. I will definetly go back to that track. I like it alot.
Joe and James thanks for letting me make a pass in both your vettes, hopefully I'll be able to run mine with y'all this winter. It was also cool to meet Ken Herring from PassTime...Tim you better be out there next time and watch out cause Jason just bought a second bottle!
