ATTN Dallas or Austin area folk: I need to borrow a canon lens, please read!
I need to ask a favor of you Austin/dallas folk. As some of you know I am heading to Dallas for a large meet and a few photoshoots that weekend. I am shooting a lamborghini lp640, Porsche carrera GT and a lotus exige S. I am in need of a wide angle canon lens on a full frame camera (5D or 1D) that is wider than 24 mm. The wider the better. A 17-40L, 16-35L, 14L, tamron 17-35, tokina 11-16 ect would all work. I need one of these lenses or anything you have that is wide to test out a few new types of rolling shots, including one that has two vehicles rolling at one.
For those of you who could help me with this, I need it asap. I will be heading up to dallas late friday night. For you dallas folk, I could either leave a deposit or you could join me in these photoshoots for some eye candy is you wish (or don't trust me enough to not return them). That is about $800,000 worth of vehicles. For you Austin folk, I could leave a deposit. Or..for those of you who can trust a forum member enough to just let him borrow it until sunday evening that would work to. I am sure there are a ton of forum members here who can vouch for me and also see me on a regular basis, and know where I live.
