Default DFW Weekly GTG: Hurst, Grapevine and Surrounding Areas

Weekly GTG in DFW: Hurst, Grapevine and surrounding areas

Meet when: Every Wednesday night at 7:00pm
Meet where: Rosa's Tortillia Factory in Hurst
Disclaimer: This is typically a "fair weather crowd".
If it's raining, or looks like rain, read the thread to see if
anyone is planning to show up.

If you live in the Hurst, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, Westlake, Trophy Club, Keller, Flower Mound, Highland Village, Euless, Bedford, North Irving, North Richland Hills, Watauga, Haltom City, Richland Hills, Fort Worth, Saginaw or most anywhere in northern Tarrant county, this is for us to meet up without having to drive 30 or 40 miles to meet other cool Corvette owners and shoot the breeze about our cars and partake of some food and beverages!

Next GTG: Wednesday (12/02/09) at 7:00pm
we will be meeting at Rosa's Tortillia Factory in Hurst.
It is at the northeast corner of the intersection of Precinct Line Rd. and Hwy 26 (Grapevine Hwy).
2200 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX, 76054

I look forward to possibly seeing some of you out there next time.

- Jim

Looks like we'll only have 3 more GTGs at Rosa's. We close on our house in Midland on 7/23. We're driving the vette out on the 22nd and leave it at the new place (vette has its own private entry to the 3-car garage), then fly back after closing. The moving company is scheduled for the 27th. See you Wednesday.

Ya know... back when I was out there a lot at meetings and working on the planes I could make it in under 4 hours.. in my F-150 and Dakota.. In your Vette you should beat that time back to Rosa's... !!!

Yeah, but you have a license to fly. With my luck, if I tried that I'd have both the LEOs and FAA after my a$$ets.

It looks like that you are SHORT two Vettes on the vacant garages. Now, isn't that nice!

P.S. Just think two more vettes so they won't be lonely!

Scott...your cost of ownership per mile driven must be astronomical ... but you do have a continually unique ride, umm , errr, project.

I think he needs two Vettes: one to mod, and one to actually drive.

hey folks. I started a thread here in sw but if any of you guys are interested, I have a friend in dallas who is holding a huge meet on the 18th from 5-8 and I may consider coming up to Dallas from Austin if I can get a big enough herd to caravan there. If anyone is interested, let me know.

I am sure the hired models there would be enough to get you guys to come out

I try not to think of it that way because I slip into depression.

It would not start and you guys know me I like my cars running good so I was like " NO WAY" What's up with the car?" Well when I looked over at Frank I knew something was up and sure enoff, he said " Have you checked the wire?" LOL ! Yep, He got me. But that just means pay back will be sweet... LOL !!!!

I am guessing no on is interested in that meet on the 18th

if you guys decide to change your mind tell me. It should be a fun day, atleast in my opinion with half the parking lot mobbed by LS motors. i am trying to recruit people over on LS1TECH and again, if I cannot get a big enough group, i ain't going to make the drive :/
