San Jacinto Corvette Club is hosting an Auto Cross at the Houston Police Academy on Sunday March 22. Gates will open at 8:00 am and we hope to have the first car on the track by 9:00. We will have the digital display to show your time as you cross the finish line. Although we are not going to be posting the times as orginally planned, we will be e-mailing the results to all provided entrants e-mail accounts. Have a freind that does not have a Vette but wants to came and play? No problems, everyone is welcome. There is no reason to be redundant, so please read the attached flyer and come and play!

DANG LIZ... YOU BEAT ME TO IT. It is such a hassle carrying the big posting boards, that we are not sure about bring them. There was talk last night about bring them, but I guess we have to wait and see. However, we will be e-mailing the slowest and fastest times on a list of the entrants. This is for fun and to hone driving skills. COME PLAY!

I lost a lot of interest when they said they would not be posting times. I know that sounds like an odd reason, but if I'm going to go out there, I want to see my times and how I'm doing against everyone else. I only autocross once a year or so. If I'm going to do it, I want it to be a full blown event.

I don't mean that to be critical of anyone. They have the right to run it how they want. I'm just stating my reasons. Also, in fairness I may not have gone this time anyway due to a confict with a motorcycle event that my wife will attend (she wouldn't go to an autocross if I offered to buy her diamonds

Yeap sorry about having to cancel. We do have another event coming up on Friday 3rd April at Grand Sport Speedway, Hitchcock - Test & Tune. 20 min sessions and different groups depending on ability.
