A buddy of mine lives in Lewisville,TX and he heard a dog barking in the middle of the night. So he checked it out. He found a bunch of cinder blocks lying on the ground behind his 2 month old 08 Z71 Truck. Yes Factory wheels. When he went to work later that morning a brand new suburban on his street was on blocks and no rims/tires.!!!!!! Cops said it's not uncommon lately! NICE GOOD Luck. As much as I hate the thought of locks on my vette.... Might just have to do it!

This has been going on in Houston since at least 2000 when my Vette wheels were stolen while parked in my apartment's garage. Police didn't care then (not enough to even take a report on it) and I'm sure they don't care now. Good luck finding them.

Had an similar situation im on the east side caught them in the act for some reason there seems to be a run on the alloy rims i have an 07 silverado with the 20in alloys either way im sure it wont help your situation but i peppered the car pretty good with a .380 if it helps it was a new model dodge charger i was a little confused as to where they planned on putting the due to the fact they are large rims i ended up with a jack from harbor freight and two cinder blocks they got away with the center caps good luck in your search if it helps the charger was black or gun metal in color it was the mid range model with stock chrome rims and a rear spoiler there were four guys and a fifth they picked up down the street good luck in your search

last year had some custom vette rims stolen out of my storage unit at one of the storage places in the west side of houston. back in 07 my apt complex in bryan tx had 3 sets of oem 20's off gm trucks stolen. 2 trucks sitting on blocks, the other was half on blocks and the back end on a jack. about 9 months ago a co-worker had his hub caps stolen off his brand new 09 silverado at our apts in spring tx. I have oem 20's on my truck and the first thing i got was wheel locks. best of luck to you
