Default Question - Paint Work in DFW Area

Because someone - who shall remain nameless (but she knows who she is ), backed into a low rock wall and ripped the bumper right behind the rear wheel. I find it necessary to replace the rear bumper facia. I found a used replacement in reasonably good shape but, it will have to be painted. Can anyone recommend a good paint shop, in the DFW area, who can be trusted to match the paint?

Thanks

Les

Trade Secrets in Plano. They matched my Mag Red perfectly and have awesome customer service.

Did either of those match without blending?

It depends on the color and area of the damage. They did not blend my front bumper into the hood/fenders of my C5 and with Mag red, that is a real pain to do.

Stuart's matched my LeMans Blue replacement headlight door and nose with only the wrecked headlight door for color matching - I didn't even take the car to them, I did all the disassembly and reassembly myself. I took it back to them for final buff and polish after installation. You cannot tell the car was ever damaged. Check their parking lot and you'll see the quality of cars they take in on a regular basis, but they are not overpriced by any means. Highly recommended

Take a look at Service King before you make the final decision. They are awesome and come w/a lifetime warranty.

Where is Stuart's located? Is it the one I've passed in Garland?

I am looking for paint as well and took your suggestion and went to Stuarts, I was quoted $15-$20K for driver paint with some bodywork (nothing major) and the car has already been stripped.

I told Les about Mid Cities Classics in Hurst and showed him the work they did on my front end....they arent cheap and they dont shortcut but if you have prepped the car they may be able to work on a better price...but I expect they will want to re-do it or agree its an "as is" job, cause with paint...the devil is in the details...in this case the prep.
