I just wanted to clarify two things.....
1) We don't ever make time appointments for tuning....On one of the past trips someone
posted that there would be appointments...That only causes problems for me. Some cars take
longer than others... Rest assured I'll stay with your vehicle till it's complete to my
satisfaction...Some cars take 45 mins and some (rarely) take a few hours. We always encourage
everyone to show up early if you have somewhere to be....It's always a good time for all when
we have a bunch of guys hanging out keeping each other company while I work on each
vehicle..... Thanks for understanding.
2) For starters, we do NOT ACCEPT CHECKS at our shop in New York (or on tuning trips), and
secondly, in addition to all the FEES that we both pay when using credit cards, we've found that
our wireless credit card machine does not have the most reliable service when we're on the road.
For these reasons we kindly request that you have more than one form of payment available when we finish your vehicle. Thanks.
I will have plenty of EXTRA STATS and COLUMN LOCK BOXES on hand.
I'll be out at TMS on May 18th for the Hot Laps. And I have been wanting to get my car tuned for ages. I've been looking around at all these places in TX (LG, HPE, RPM, Quality, 21st Century, etc). I've heard some good things out of the forums members about your tunes. Most of these are from C6 A6 guys. So now I just need to decide on if I should do it.
What are the exact fees....is it just $375? No Taxes? And I would need a T-Stat 160, but that's no biggy.
Hey there guys, who's question do i answer first?
myvette1: nope, sorry.... i won't make it down to Houston on this trip. Maybe we can plan a trip there later this fall. In the meantime, like you said, is...
Quote:
only a couple of hours away, Corvette hours of course...
since you have the vette and i will be driving a rental...you win
jbclutch: a couple of guys were to lazy to spell out my shop's name..... so they shortened it to CoW witch is Corvettes of Westchester...so there you have it, it's actually CoW that does the tuning not the cow that gets tuned
HAIL THI$: The tune for manuals is $375..... the tune for automatics is $400, no taxes since i travel. If you need the stat give me a call so i can send it to you to have it installed before i get there.
stealthjr: the tuning is not done on a dyno... give me a call and i'll explain.
gbgary: the tune for automatics is $400....that is a comprehensive, full engine and tranny tune....call me if you have any questions

That would be really gr8 I'd be sure to jump on it! (and other perf mods I cant live without) Can't make it inland this time unfortunatly Thanks
I'll be there on Sunday to get a very minor tweak to the tune you put in my car in Bowling Green. The car runs great. It is the best money I've spent on the car.
Chuck I got my 08 corvette A6 tuned with a guy here before I got my hp tuners and he was able to get me to run 12.22 at 115.124 mph with only the tune no other mods. I just installed the Vararam on it. How much better can it probably on average get retuning it again with you...

Nothing against Chuck....but you should be able to take it back to the guys that tuned it before and get it tuned for FREE and just pay for Dyno time (which isn't much-$65/hr usually).
