C6 Toll Road Receiver
Where are you putting the Texas Toll Road receiver on your C6's? The instructions say to put it behind the mirror and two inches below the roof line. But, that is about impossible on a C6 with the dots and blacked out area. Can it effectively work on the drivers or passengers side about a foot or so away from the mirror? Also does it have to be two inches from the top of the roof line? That makes it really visible from outside the car. Thanks!
I put mine right below the mirror where you can't see it from the inside. I put black electrical tape so it is harder to see from the outside. I think I might try painting it black.
I place mine right over the dots. Works fine. It doesn't have to bee physically seen from the outside for it to function.
Ditto here too...Roy, You can mount it pretty much anywhere and as long as it's not in the glove box or console it should work...Mine is right behind the mirror and way up in the black, hard to see from outside...works fine.
I drive an '06 so I put mine between the mirror mount and the xm receiver. its the perfect size for a toll tag. From the outside you can't tell its there.

Mine actually reads from the console sometimes, when it is closed and my arm is on top of it. Anywho, i usually have it on the back of the rear view mirror, rattle can it black and you can't see it.
