How'd it go at the track? Did they prep it or was it the usual "Slip and Slide"?

My son got sick so I didn't make it neither did Enemy. We planned on going Sunday since the track wasn't open Saturday but Hopefully we will go this weekend. I have to check the schedule and see what day they are having the street tune day. I went to that am meet once and it was . Only if we could get more meets or cruises going it would be better. I don't mind chatting cars but let's drive guys!!! I also asked for a sticky at the top for NM so we shall see what happens. Here is the link to the strip http://www.abqdragway.com/. 10:30:4:30. Come on out and represent. Don't make me leave the C5 at home and bring my DSM and embaress all of you guys. Here is the schedule since night racing starts soon.http://www.abqdragway.com/id23.html

I made 50 passes in my Vette last year, only gone once this year, so far. If you haven't raced on slick tracks and at high altitude, prepare yourself, you will be going lots slower. My best pass here (on OEM runflats) was an 11.8

I'm thinking of going this weekend with some better tires.

Here's a link that gives you the DA and various corrected factors and times:

This will be the first time with my car and rwd so I need to look at some launching techniques. My 1g Talon being awd cut 1.7 60ft all day long and that was considered a crappy launch. I'm hoping for a low 14 out of the c5 but we will see what happens.

Hey guys. I just moved to Santa Fe and bought a C5. Is there anything that happens in Santa Fe that you know of (or do I need to drive to ABQ everytime I need my Vette fix)?

Thanks,

Matt

High 13's are do-able, on a good day. I ran a 13.8 with a stock 2000 vert. Most stock C5 Z's run mid 13's here.

Quatoed.........Diamond Star Motors....A joint effort by Mitsubishi (three diamonds) and the Chrysler Corporation (penta-star) to build some of the most incredible automobiles in the world. The vehicles were produced with the names Eagle Talon (89-98), Mitsubishi Eclipse (89-99), and Plymouth Laser (89-94). DSM cars were assembled in Normal, Illinois

awd+turbo=one hell of a good time. My 1g(91) ran 13.9 with the stock turbo, turboback, mbc. Now I have this

The small snail

Yup the C5 is the slowest out of them all no bs.

It was 2.0l now it's stroked and a whopping 2.3l . High 10's low 11's coming to a track near you It's only a 4cyl how fast could it be?
