hey guys im from the northeast but im goin to texas tommorrow for a supra meet with my friend. i was just wondering if anyone from here will be there.

its supposed to be one of the biggest supra meets in the country. its in houston texas. suppose to be a bunch of 7, 8, and 9 sec supras.

What day are you coming?

If everyone does not know the drags which were originally set for Sunday have been moved to Saturday because of the chance of rain. The 60-130 racing was moved to Sunday.

I live in Houston and have been to this meet for the past few years. It is HUGE and it is not just Supras. There are many,many other types of cars there both domestic and import. There are a lot of 700, 800, 900, 1000+ RWHP cars.

Friday there is a car show and dyno contest at Lonestar Motorsports Park in Sealy, TX (about 40 minutes west of Houston). Friday night there will be a dinner and huge gathering at Frank-N-Steins Sports Bar and Grill on HWY 6 in Sugarland, TX (about 20 minutes SW of Houston). There is always street action every night, but especially Friday night.

Saturday is the 1/4 mile drag racing again at Lonestar Motorsports Park in Sealy, Tx.

Sunday is the 60 MPH - 130 MPH roll-on acceleration contest at Lonestar Motorsports Park in Sealy, TX.

i'll be coming up on sat for the drags. i wish i could of driven my vette down but have some time constraints that won't allow it. I also heard there will be tons of other cars there as well as supras. Some nasty vettes and vipers will def be there.

The night meet sponsored by HPD is at the Katy Frank-N-Steins location not the Sugarland one. It's just south of I-10 on Mason Rd.

Just got home from the the street race that followed after the main event at the track...
All i gotta say is WOW, so many bad @ss supras,vettes,and vipers... my good friends shop, went low et, and top MPH for the entire day in there turbo powered lsx motor camaro...

LOW ET-7.62
BEST MPH-194- I thought i heard someone say it was the track record,even though it hasnt been a 1/4mile track very long...

I even made a pass in my vette, with the 20in wheels it went 11.98 @ 118mph...

Now im ready to put a tire on it...

I drove in for the meet from Albuquerque. It was a pretty good time! Awesome cars.

all i can say is wow. some fast cars in texas. dont think ive seen that many 700rwhp plus cars in my life. some of those tt vipers were nuts trappin 145-152mph.
