Default Autocross April 15th

Lone Star Corvette Club will have its monthly "Khana Cross" at Cedar Valley College in Lancaster this Saturday, April 15th. Setup starts at 9:30, with drivers meeting and racing commencing at 11:00 AM. Cost is $15 per driver ($25 for husband & wife), and gets you a practice run, 4-5 timed runs and fun runs after everyone has completed their timed runs. Lunch (generally brisket or chicken) is included, and everyone is asked to bring a desert or munchies and their own drinks. There are separate classes for C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6 & Z06, modified and non-Vette.
Cedar Valley College is located in Lancaster on Lancaster Road a couple of miles south of I20. Here's a link to a map: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...20Universities

Got more specifics on a Khana cross?

Also more details on what classes are what ? If you are modified and you have a C5, are you no longer in C5 class, but modified?

The LSCC Khana cross is a fun, mildly competitive, low-speed autocross event that we have once a month. We get out and compare our skills and hopefully learn something about our car and ourselves. We group the cars into different classes depending on stock or mods to give everyone an opportunity to compare and succeed.

Everyone is welcome, just bring a side dish, chair, plenty of water/fluids, and your game face. The main dish is usually picked up locally (bbq or chicken).

Having fun and learning is the #1 goal.

Do you require helmets? I was wondering if I should bring mine along or not.
