San Antonio people ,I have a question?
Going to the River walk Saturday night for a little dinner, can some one point me to a place to park that is close to it ?
Any parking garages or what ever.
I always park at the Rivercenter garage, part of the mall/Marriott facility. It's on Commerce, exit off I37/US281. It's just a short walk down the river extention to the main channel. There's a $ discount on parking if you get one of the mall merchants to validate your ticket. Get off on one of the mall levels & walk through the mall to the river side. You can then take an escalator to the river level. There is lots of parking, this is just the one I use, as it's the first parking from the direction I'm coming from.

More than likeley be in the wifes car ,SLK350 but we do have insurance Still thinking of taking the vette , we are going to a bed and breakfast between Austin and San Antiono , stoping in Austin on the way up and then going to the Riverwalk the next night . Should be some nice country driving on the trip.

Actually, if you are just driving I-35, then the "country driving" will be pretty boring...since it is all highway. You'd do better to take 290 to 281 coming back into SA from Austin.
As for parking in the garage...have had friends with Vettes do that and they were stuck with flat tires or keyed cars. Pretty much the same hazard level anywhere downtown.
