I ended up making the trip by myself. Here are some pictures that I thought you all might enjoy.
Total trip was around 300 miles and the weather was great. When I got started temp was around 65 degrees and on top of mountain range temp hovered around 55 degrees. Started off with clear skies and once in the mountain range there was cloud cover and it appeared to have rained.
First scenic stop....
second stop....
third stop....
another scenic shot....
there is a road wayyyy over there....
I like this shot, kinda lets the mind wonder....

Next part of the trip was a stop at Robbers Cave National Park.
River is down due to serious lack of rain....
Neat shot....
This is where the robbers hid out during the cowboy days....
This is taken standing in front of cave looking down. You can see a little kid.

Final leg of the trip was too Eufala Lake (Dam). The lake level is the lowest I have ever seen it. This lake is huge, I think there is over 1000 miles of shore line.
Those are not my black marks
Driving over the dam....
This is the backside of the dam. This is a rec area for 4 wheelers and is a blast....
Enjoy....

Nice shots! We went down to the Talamina Drive last Sunday. I think every Corvette Club, Porsche Club, Miata Club, Hot Rod Club, and PT Cruiser Club in the state had the same idea, because it was a madhouse.

Great looking pictures, thanks for sharing.
I'm actually in Cresent, OK (just outside of OK City) today visitng my girlfriends relatives for Thanksgiving. I always enjoy it up here.
Only bad thing is I have to wear her brothers osu jersey because Texas Tech lost the game this year. I guess I have to grim n bear it since he had to wear my Tech jersey last year.
One the other hand my girlfriend will be right beside me in my Tech jersey because we beat OU last week, .

Oh and awesome pics of the trip okies93. And thats a very clean C4 you've got. Lakes are real low here as well. Lake Lavon is a mile from my house and i think it's 11 feet below normal
