Default [AZ] Scandalous Racing 5/14

Scandalous Racing is coming to Firebird Raceway. In case you live under a rock and dont know who they are...... they are a bunch of Chicago Street racers who race for some serious money.

http://scandalousracing.com/calendar...AR_CHOICE=2005

Now if I get my tune resolved, I will be racing in this event, if not I will spectate.

Here is a link to their trailer of what to expect.

This is a track event... not street racing... so its all legal.

Looks interesting. I wouldn't risk my car, though. Been there, done that.

You said your conversion can take as little as 2 hours. This event starts at 8 and goes into the night. You can make it.

Glen, I wish you good luck, and many accolades for driving your car for what it is designed. Unfortunately I am out of town again [monthly trip to MN.] and cannot attend. I am finishing my car so that I can enter in events such as this. Far too many people never realize what these cars can really do. I work a lot of hrs. and have too many commitments to weekend cruise with you and the others who crave the sensation of speed, but be assured that in the evenings I find stretches of road [hardly travelled] and do my own version of what you do at the track. My favorite is 0 to 100 to 0. Turn off all controls and feel everything through the seat and be in control. A couple of those and I sleep and dream like a baby. My wife went with me for 1 and didn't like not being in control but sensed the euphoria that fills one when doing this and supports me as long as they are roads devoid of traffic.

Min of two hours for Bryan's Vette... then we are playing "what's wrong with Dan's Vette now". No time estimates on that one!

well you all missed some good racing..

There was alot of 9 and 10 second cars. Extreme, WOT motorsports, Dark Dragon Motorsports, and other Chicago tuners were in effect.

Couple of supra, one from Chicago, ran 9.2x @ 158.
The Chicago supra put out 1575 RWHP on a mustang dyno...

Tell you more about it tomorrow at Randy's
