Yo G, Saturday had a hugh attendance. I have pic's in-process in the "my pictures" section. The Houston Corvette Owners Club won the following:
David Sollene 1st Modified Street 97-04
Mallory Reid 1st Modified Street 90-96
Tom Bixby 1st Mild Custom 90-04
Chuck Edminsten 1st Street Stock 63-68 (Chuck came all the way from Hot Springs Ark.)
Frank Bobbie 2nd Stock 97-04
Debra Goss-Seeger 2nd Modified Street 97-04
Charles Stigall 2nd Stock Street 90-96
Tom, congrats on the win. My '69 didn't even get a mention. In a class of only 4 vehicles, mine was kicked to the curb in favor of a nearly stock 72 Camaro (yellow) with boring 15" wheels and hardly anything done to it. I'm guessing the judges dislike modern components on classic cars. The other three cars in the class (including mine) were heavily modified and all pro-touring style with modern engines, brakes, suspensions, etc...
and the plain jane '72 won the class. I feel robbed!

That sucks, "resto-mods" like yours have been the hottest selling cars at Barrett Jackson for the last two years. The tide is changing in your favor. Hang in there and enjoy the car you made, it's awesome and you know it.
