Default Houston area Sub/Amp install

Hey guys, I'll be in town for spring break (March 26-31) and I'm considering putting the subs and amp from my last car that have been sitting in my parents garage for over a year into my vette using a stealth box in the center storage compartment.

However, before I commit to it, I want to know exactly what I'm in for and I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with this so that they could help me or provide advise so that I can do a clean install, (ie. no wires hanging everywhere)... Let me know!

For such a common mod you would think there would be step by step directions, but I can't seem to find any... also someone there to lend a helping hand or tell me my options wouldn't hurt!

Thanks!
Alan

Well, the more you take apart the better the install would be. Pull up your seats in other words and run wire under the carpet. Remember to run the speaker wire away from the power wire. Are you using the stock head unit? You may have to get an adapter to make an aftermarket amp. Post this same question in the audio section and you'll get a better response. I'm going by past experience, I haven't installed a system in my C5 yet.

People ask this question in the audio section every week and I've never seen anyone get a nice simple step by step answer. So i'm hoping a fellow houston area forum member might step up and say "oh I've installed subs and an amp to a factory head unit.... you need the following and this is how you do it.... any questions let me know, maybe I can even come over and help ya."

I would and I will but I have to buy my go fast parts first. Good luck!
