Default Thanks to North Bay Corvettes for AX 8/28

The folks from North Bay did a tremendous job having their site cancelled just a few weeks ahead of the event, finding a new, if rough site and putting it into pretty good shape. Glad to see that the lot was full and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Way to Go NB!

Let me 2nd that appreciation to North Bay Vettes. Yes the site was mighty rough which worked out fine for my almost stock '01 coupe. I kept dialling back the F45 suspension finally settling on Sport instead of Performance. The softer setting was better for the rough surface. But I still don't know how I did not improve in 5-runs with my best run being my first. Possibly the course design and rough surface really penalized aggressive driving; a lot of drivers were clearly "over-driving" the course. Hopefully we'll be back to SBC in October.

I would have posted sooner but CF was having a bad ride also

I agree. The surface did not appreciate agressive driving. Changing to my Hoosiers was the worst thing I did that day. With my tight and lowered suspension the car was all over the place. Hope they can go back to the old site by the next auto-x.
