This is a "CheckerBoard" Vette Gathering & Poker Run. (Black & any color Red Vettes). Go to www.corvettecruzin.com for info. I've received a number of requests from Red & Black Vettes asking me to incorporate the colors in Las Vegas so more Vettes from their club can attend, caravan there, etc. The event will be on May 27,28, 2005 (Memorial Day Weekend-long weekend for most) at the Buffalo Bill's Hotel & Casino in Primm, Nevada, 35 miles out of Vegas. I've "Blocked" 100 rooms and the group code#is SCR0527 for any that wants to reserve a room and it guarantees you one of the "Blocked" Rates. Room reservations can be made from now on by calling 1-800-386-7867. Registration forms will go out by email in Dec/Jan. If you or you have any friends or club members that might want to attend and have a Red or Black Vette, go to www.corvettecruzin.com , click on the CheckerBoard and fill out the form on the bottom of the page for an emailed reg. form to be sent. The event will consist of a Thursday (May 26) "Caravan Day" from N. Calif., Friday night "Gathering" in the hotel bar, Sat. morning Poker Run, Sat. night Catered Buffet dinner in our private banquet room, 50/50 raffle, and a late night "CheckerBoard" cruise up & down the Las Vegas "Strip".
