Alex,

KL pictures. It was great seeing you and meeting your new friend. It looks like there was a good turnout on Saturday for the races. I'm sorry to have missed it. We'll see you next year, but it may be without my Corvette...maybe a new one.

Herb,

Likewise it's always great seeing you and the gang there! Hopefully next year, we'll have a full crew. I spoke with Hummel and he's planning on going to Monterey next year. DePrat and Hall should be there too!

I've already booked the room for next year.

Alex.

Hey, missed all the Suspects this year. Maybe we can get up there over the fall or winter this year for a run. Do plan on making it next year. Alex great pixs. They bring back all the great memories from the preceding years that we got to enjoy our summer finale at Monterey cruising with the Usual Suspects. A & M

It was to not the same without the missing Suspects, we did however
teach the secret handshake to our 2 new members. One of Halls students was at the party on Wednesday night (Major USMC),
Mike may have a picture.

Alex, what are the dates for next year? Are you booked in same place?

I don't have exact dates, but it should be the second weekend in August. My reservation is for Aug 11-14th at the same place.

I believe it's the 19th through the 21st of August, 2005. I've also made my reservations for next year, although I have no idea what marque is featured!

Alex, thanks for snapping that picture of my wife and I talking to Louie about his roadtrip in that beautiful '67 roadster of his. We had a great time (thanks Mike!) and after seeing that very cool Chrysler prototype, I didn't feel so bad about the black primer on my '69. Also, thanks to Dawson for leading the group over Laureles Grade.

Sunday, we drove down towards San Simeon and It was cool car heaven It was all Ferrari, all the time!

Hans,

So what color are we going to see that '69 of yours next year?

Factory color is Burgundy and that's the plan right now. I may use the 50th aniversary pearl and then do my hardtop in the shale that they use on the interior and the softtops on those cars. Funny, but I can't find any pictures of the 'vert with the top up! My blushing bride really wants me to paint it dark green.

I still need to confirm the dates for next year...

I'm considering it. It certainly looks great on yours! By the way, I like the lip spoiler on yours. It really changes the whole effect, for the better IMHO.

And WE missed seeing you guys & gals again this year. Karen is swamped at work, and we have been busting a$$ to get the house ready to sell. It goes on the market TODAY, so if y'all know of anyone with a spare $800K they'd like to spend, let me know.

We WILL have a major PARTAY here before we head to KS - stay tuned!

Hans,

I'm getting in touch with my inner ricer Seriously, the tremendous downforce generated by the spoiler allows 6-G turns, at least. Also, I feel powerful and better looking since getting it.
