I love your enthusiastic support and am also a fan. I was even at the game Sunday. I'm not sure if this is the right site for this but ok GO KINGS. :lurk:
The LA Fakers are going nowhere. They might beat Houston but thats it for them. The Kings were 4-0 against Houston this year so big deal. Neither team is going much further, the Kings because of injuries to Jackson, Miller and Webber who is not 100% yet. Thats 3 of their top 6 either out or not 100%. Not an excuse just the reason why they probably won't advance. The Fakers on the other hand should be dynamite but their not. Too many personalities and too much disaccord to be a consistant winner. I love watching Kobe but the rest of that team is an eyesore. After having the Magic Johnson teams with Worthy, Cooper & Jabbar This current team is really a disappointment not that they don't win but they have such a lousy personality. Not even one player that you can actually say "I really like that guy". I'm a realistic Kings fan and I say it's San Antonio all the way. :yesnod:
I'm not sure if this is the right site for this but
:iagree:
I thought this was a Corvette Forum?
Next we'll have political commentary, then religion, then...???
Oh common... This is the local Pacific California rivalry! I think this is the right place for it. I really like how this Pacific Forum has changed for the better. We are all getting to know eachother and now its become more diversified with all kinds of helpful threads other than just cruises and Hooters get togethers.

I say go Lakers!!! The Queens are going nowhere!
:iagree: All except for the last line. It should say "The Queens and Fakers are going nowhere." :yesnod:

Fakers???????? WHAT WE FAKED OUR WAY TO 3 OF THE LAST 4 CHAMPIONSHIPS I THINK THE REAL FAKERS ARE THE QUEENS. ALWAYS SAYING HOW GREAT THEY ARE. BUT NO RINGS. AS LONG AS THE LAKERS ARE AROUND. THE QUEENS WILL ALWAYS BE 2ND BEST.

Yeah and the Bulls & Pistons won a bunch of rings too but their fans are over it. These are different teams and those rings are just good memories and don't mean jack right now. Except maybe for the fans in La La land. This is not the same Laker team that won those rings and thats obvious to knowledgable fans that understand the game. Even as a Kings fan, it's obvious to me that the Kings at this point may be in over their heads with the teams they have to face. The Lakers are in the same boat as the Kings. Could they go all the way? Possibly but doubtful this year. It's ok to cheer for your team but step back, be honest and ask yourself if you really think they can beat San Antonio in 7. An honest answer would be "No, but I'm rooting for them anyway and you never know for sure". You need to forget what the Lakers have done in past history because nobody else including the teams they play don't give a rats butt.
The Lakers are basically the same team that won 3 titles in a row. Save maybe, there roll players are different. The difference is the other teams have caught up to them. It was Kobe and Shaq with roll players then, and Kobe and Shaq with roll players now.
Oh ya. The pistons didn't win a bunch of rings. They won two. 15 years ago. The Lakers last ring was 2 years ago .As far as the Kings, they have always had great players the last 5 years. They had no heart then, and they have no heart now. What seperates the Kings is, when it come to crunch time, they will always choke. And that will always be in there Head. They have much better talent than the lakers or spurs. 80 percent of sports is mental. Thats where the Kings fall miserably.
I thought if the Lakers won this year it would make it 15. Just because they moved doesn't mean you can't count the first five. :yesnod:

:nopity I think the Lakers have more injured players than healthy. Let's see either not 100% or out:
Kobe (shoulder), Karl (knee), Fisher (groin), Fox (ankle, thumb), Grant (hip), Rush (ankle), George (calf), Shaq (he's always hurt). That's 7 of their top 8 players.
You never hear the Lakers :cry about their record because of their injuries. They just deal with it and try to win the next game. Only ones you hear complain about it is the media.
I've seen a couple of interviews were the Kings will comment on some questions saying to the effect of, "Wait 'till we get healthy." Blah, blah, blah, play hard or go home.
*Disclaimer - This post is all in good fun, that goes along with the great Lakers-Kings rivalry.
