:thumbs: I reached for some old newspaper (last Sun. Ventura Star) to use during my 5k mi. oil change in the Vette this morning and the front page of the Arts & Living section has this picture of a blue vette and its' owner "L.P."; I reconized the name as belonging to someone I welcomed to the forum in a post; although I haven't seen anything from you lately. (Hope you are still checking in). As I read the article I was happy to see that you finally broke down an purchased a Vette even though you always thought it was very silly to owen one. :nonod: I really hope now you know why they are so special and I wish you luck and pleasure with it. For me the BAD thing was reading the reason you finally got the car and have done all the other thing you have recently. I can only imagin being face with the knowledge that one has only a short amount of time left to enjoy life. You seem to have handled yourself well according to the article. :hurray: :steering: If you get the chance come out an run with us some time. Thank you C54MREW! As often happens, the article only took parts of my 3 hour conversation with the reporter, and condensed it into the written space available. My "silly" comment was taken out of context. :rolleyes:

Initially, I thought it was silly for me to spend that kind of money on a car given my income level. I never thought actually owning a Vette was "silly".

So, am, I back on your good side?

MissVetteRacer, I'm glad ur still checking in. I know what u mean about being miss quoted or condensed by the media; I've had it happened many times in my day. Especially with the LA repoters. :smash:
