May 15th ... West Coast Corvette Challenge on the road at LAS VEGAS...Mark your calendar... Plan ahead ... Block off Saturday, May 15th, and make your hotel reservations early. The WCCC is on the road at Las Vegas Motor Speedway(LVMS) for our May edition of the West Coast Corvette Challenge, the 5th event of the 2004 season. This will be the first visit to LVMS for the WCCC. Gates open at noon, tech inspection open at 2:00PM, exclusive WCCC time trials for 1 hour between 3:30 and 4:30PM, general time trials(3 rounds) start at 4:30(Run order: Pro, Super Pro, Motorcycle, Street, Sport Compact, WCCC), a closest-to-dial one round, 'Bracket Run for the Money'(additional entry of approx $20), and Eliminations to start at approximately 8:30PM and run til approximately 11:30PM. This is the fifth in a series of ALL-Corvette Drag Racing WCCC events scheduled for our third season of racing. This event is open to any licensed driver of ANY Corvette....ANY year, ANY model. Your car may be anything from bone-stock to blown...as long as your car can pass the tech inspection at the track, you may participate in this event. One exception...NO ELECTRONICS... You can race just for the fun of it, or you can sign up and compete for points...as well as just for the fun of it. REGISTRATION and FEES $45.00(cash only please - $30.00 at the gate and $15.00 to the WCCC) includes admission to the track, tech card, test & tune, friendly grudge matches, and single elimination Corvette-Only bracket racing for trophies and other prizes! All first elimination round winners receive a trophy. I've updated the my initial post, regarding no electronics, updated fee changes and event schedule:

Fees arenow $45 total... $30 track entry/tech card, plus the $15.00 WCCC registration fee. $10.00 each additional crew(must be purchased at time car enters),

Gates are open all day,
2:00PM Tech inspection starts
3:30PM Exclusive WCCC time trial session for 1 hour, from 3:30 to 4:30PM
4:30PM General time trials starting at 4:30(3 rounds)
7:45PM Bracket Run for the Money...1 round closest to dial wins(separate entry fee)
8:30PM Eliminations begin for all classes
