Unmarked white Dodge Durango Sheriff(?) in Napa

Drove my Vette to work today (semi-holiday traffic) and got flashed by plain white Dodge Durango. My heart stopped and I pulled over to outer lane. He didn't follow me but pulled ahead then really hit all his lights behind a mini-van which had been doing alot of lane changing. Could have been a Napa sheriff or American Canyon P.D. Didn't really want to find out first hand. Anyway warning to all on Hwy 37 between American Canyon and Napa.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll keep my eyes open.

I'm not too worried as every time I drive that stretch of the road I seem to be going 15-20 mph thanks to all of the traffic! :mad

I have seen many "off the wall" under cover cars lately... the detectives all drive different cars and each one of them dont look anything like a police cruiser! :nono: over 20 years ago, I got pulled over by a smashed up toyota sedan that had 2 plain clothes officers in it that looked like they just came from woodstock... One had a Fu-k Iran t-shirt on!! :eek:

CA Vehicle Code says LE vehicles must be "distinctively marked" & LEO must be in uniform. Anything other than that and presumably you would have a very good defense - if one if these plain clothes car / cops actually ticketed you or arrested you for a traffic violation!

They did write me a citation... then I went to court and beat it!! :lol:
