best A-4 tranny shop in San Jose ?

Any good shops transmission shops ??
who makes a bullit proof A-4 and how long to get it??

Finish Line Performance makes a good one that they call the FLP Level IV. They have a fall special going now through 10/17 which drops the price $200 to $1795. It would probably take a couple of weeks to get one.

I had mine installed by Andy at A&A Corvette in Ventura (forum vendor). I know it's not in the Bay Area, but his prices for installs make it worth the trip.

I'd think about it if the tranny was OK.
It's a long way to go wondering what else will let go :eek:

Went to Ron Gates Transmissions on El Camino in sunnyvale and I am happy with his service. I wish I could have waited for a FLPIV but I needed my car back asap.

I know this might not help now, but we also use a great shop up in fremont, Grant and Dans Transmissions. They built alot of our trannies.
