Default Need a decent muffler shop in South San Jose

Title says it all. I picked up a new toy(84 BMW 633 - AKA a Beemer Shark:cool:) and it needs a new muffler, possibly 2. I don't want to battle 20 year old rusty cat bolts. The C4 already has one half bolt due to the impact wrench being slightly less than gentle, and a new cat for this thing is $1000.00.
Would prefer someone near SJC, but deep south San Jose works(Blossom Hill/Almaden area if possible)

Kinda sounds generic... but the Midas on Camden and 17 has always done a good job. :smash:

VR

Actually on the Beemer Forums, some of them are giving praise for a selected few franchise shops.
I will give them a call.

Sounds like a neat toy, Steve - I've always liked the look of the 6 series. Guy down the hill from me has two really nice ones!

It is relatively clean and the price was more than right, and it drives great. A touch floaty compared to the Vettes, but I dont mind the softer ride. :yesnod:
As it turns out I may need it, someone tried to steal the 85 Monday night
Figured it was some kid(s), because the alarm went off and they took off.
I came out to find a screwdriver wedged in the window and the passenger door almost open.

DAMN! Is it made of some sort of special stuff?!? I would think you could slap on an aftermarket exhaust (read: custom shop made) for around $200 with a nice flowmaster muffler or something like that...A cat honestly shouldn't be more than $75!
Again, if it's a special cat made of special stuff, hook a brotha up! :D

FO SHIZZLE,
Thanks, I think I found them and called, unfortunately, they wanted some pretty hefty $$$-700, actually everyone did that I talked to. I am going to do it myself. I only need the rear muffler and it will be $250.
TIMSPEED, it has 3 cat's all connected together....
