Some of us from Phoenix are coming over to San Diego in a few weeks to cool off in that big pool you call the Pacific.

If you can meet up with us for the BBQ on Sat. night that would ROCK !!

Imperial Beach is having their annual Sandcastle contest 25th, 26th and 27th. Music, Fireworks on Sat the 26th, contest on Sunday the 27th, along with all kinds of food and drink the whole weekend. Usual attendence around 300,000 for the weekend.

IB is on the border and it won't affect Dog Beach. I think he means, don't expect to many SD forum members to show. I'll be there.

the problem is that the beaches fill up very quick so we would have to get there early to get a large area. Another idea is the bay, but still needs to get there early. If everyone is out on a saturday, there can be a cruise and then early morning beach trip to get spots
