Departure time is 1 hour earlier than normal. I'm intrigued and will be there!

Cruise to where? Or is it a cruise to the meet-up spot?

Thanks for asking. We've had a few folks show up in the past but not go on the Cruise because the previous info did sound like a "Cruise in", so I've been trying to clarify the wording in the post that this is an actual Cruise where we go for a drive.

A "Cruise In" is where the big Cruise is to a parking lot Car Show and sit around and reminisce about the good old days.

What we do is meet up, then go for one of several fun/scenic drives and then hit a lunch spot.

Check some of the previous 'Vette Roundup threads below for more insight and photos and join us if you like.

Generally we don't post the destination ahead of time, however this being January, mountain roads can be cold and icy, so we'll meet up, then head down to South OC Cars & Coffee.

I clicked on the link and read the description of OC Cars & Coffee. Noticed that their event is on Saturday, rather than our normal Sunday cruise day. See you on Saturday, January 20th.

I might be able to make this. I'll go straight to the venue, tho.

Was hoping to be able to make it to this one (finally) after just meeting you guys... but having young kids means kid b-day parties! And we have TWO of those to attend on 1/20. So it's a no-go for me this month.

I remember when my kids would have birthday parties to go to every weekend and they were usually from noon to 2:00 which killed the whole day. Rather than find out how much Costco pizza my kids could consume at these events, we instituted a rule that they could attend one party a month and for the ones they did not go to, we would send a $20 Target gift card to the birthday boy or girl. That allowed us to go on little family trips to zoos and museums etc.

One a month is too easy!
We missed both of these parties last year due to being sick, and the parents are our close friends. No way we'd choose to miss out this year.
Technically we could have 4 parties this month including my daughter's, though we already declined one.

They're only young once, so it's important to maximise your time with them.
Hope to see you in the future.

Yeah I've been watching that, I was hoping it would blow out, but it seems to be coming sooner.
Let's see what it looks like in a couple more days.

Miss you guys and surely, Sparky. Good on ya, Jon for stepping up.

Now in Prescott, AZ my new-to-me C4 is an under-20k mile, totally stock Callaway, factory optioned, B2K [twin turbo], bought from a classmate who was the 1st registered owner.

Sadly, I didn't have it prior to seeing 'Doc' at the huge, local Corvette show here. AZ roads are superby maintained and uncrowded, making those well-throttled drives quiite pleasureable.

Have fun; no tix or any rare incidents.

Nice to meet some new people today, hope they'll come on the regular cruises after this. Had some unexpected traffic on the way, but still got there in good time.
Great show again at San Clemente, it was huge, very crowded as usual and tons of Corvettes!
