Jon, I'm in also...

BTW: I'm gonna tell my club members about this and hopefully, I can recruit a few for next week. Can you tell me or give me a direction you will be going? They are going to ask me.

Thanks,

Tony
Part of the mystic of these rides is not knowing the destinatiion untill we show up. Good, bad, ???
As a long time attendee, I just accept that there will be some town driving, some freeway driving, and then some good mountain or back country twisty driving. Then a group lunch, if you want. I sometimes skip the lunch if the return home traffic (which it all too common here in SoCal) is going to be terrible.
I've enjoyed them all.

Sayfoo, I totally agree. Let me clarify. The purpose of asking was to eliminate driving from the IE to the block and back through the IE to the destination. I live in Riverside and don't really care about this much. I love driving the car and relish most opportunities to be behind the wheel. In an effort to recruit drivers from the IE or my club, this is a concern. I only wanted to know the general direction or where the first stop might be if heading back through the IE. This allows me to inform these drivers where the stop is and have them meet us there. I think it's great what Sparky and Pat started and I want to help get these cruises more visibility. These cruises make driving these wonderful cars that much more fun.

Yea, Tony, agree. Freeway driving isn't a lot of fun, and if you could join in part way through the cruise, it would be better for you. It pretty much sucks that it takes soo many miles (and time) to get out of the LA congestion before the fun drive starts.
Hope to see you+ on Sunday.

Bummer Don, we'll see you on the next one, maybe another pre-run in a couple weeks.

We're still on for tomorrow, be ready for spaghetti!

Thanks Jon for another great run. And it was great meeting newbies Chris and Gina who went the distance and had a great time. See you in September!

That was a fun drive, just when you wonder if these twists and turns will ever end, we made a U turn and did them again!

See you all next month.

Come on, where are the pics of those that show up before the cruise?

Is everyone liking where Jon is taking you? I really hope so because Pat and i have given him full reign...it's his rodeo/show!

I think Pat and I couldn't have picked a better person to continue running The Block...GO JON!!!!

Sparky

No excuses, I will make a point to take photos of the meet-up next time. And yes, Jon is doing a fantastic job and proudly carrying on the tradition that you and Pat established.

I know we've been slacking on the people pics, but I'll throw in a few dashcam pics for now. And I'll have you know we behaved ourselves even though there were several of these signs encouraging us to do 300ft burnouts.
