[EVENT] West Coast HOOTERS CRUISE!

UPDATE: For those of you who are not sure how to get to the Meeting point off of HWY 17... I have setup a Pre meeting point with a map. You can meet at the Safeway shopping center at 8:15 am, and we will leave at 8:30am. http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?BFC...%A0Map=Get+Map On Saturday Febuary 15th we will have a Hooters Cruise. Some of you may remember this Event that we did on Febuary 9th of last year. ;) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Saturday, Febuary 15th we will be having a Cruise with a lunch at a local "Hot Spot" here in North San Jose. Once the Cruise is finished we will have Lunch at T's Grill. T's has two eating areas and once you get there you can decide if you want to eat inside or outside. We should be able to fill up the parking lot with Vettes and Even get the girls that work there to come on out and take photos with the Cars. You do have to be over 21 to get in this place. so be sure to bring you ID's with you no matter how old you are. I know it sounds funny but thats the policy at T's Please post to this thread so I know how many we will have coming. The Meeting time for the Event is: 9:00am Where: HWY 17 Santa Cruz Summit, Just South of the Summit is a large parking lot. It is across the Highway from the Fruit Stand and it also has the CHP sub-station there. If you have any trouble finding it (I dont think you will) you can contact me @ (408) 234-0346 Departure time: 9:45 sharp!! The Cruise will go south on Hwy 17 to So bound HWY 1 and stop at Manresa Beach, we will stay there for 30 min. Then South on HWY 1 through Castroville! Wont Castroville be happy to see us!! Once through Castroville we will head to 101. In Morgan Hill we will stop at a gas station for a short break. Then it is Northbound on 101 to T's!! We arrive at T's at 12:30pm. I have made special arrangements with T's and they are expecting us. We will order off of the T's Menu and drinks are on special just for us!! If you're going through downtown Morgan Hill, watch the speed limits, I remember seeing someone nabbed there, they were doing all of 30 in my estimation - the only time I've seen someone stopped for speeding in a 25 zone... (at least I think it's 25 there, if memory serves!)

Sorry to hijack the thread, but....

Have you guys ever done a cruise down the entire length of Hwy 25? I live in Hollister and have driven down past the Pinnacles several times, but never all the way down to Bitterwater/Coalinga and back up 101 for the return. It's a beautiful country road with not much traffic and some fun twisties.

I'm new to the Vette community -- I'll need to tag along on one of these cruises some day.

I should be able to make this trip. Anyone got a hookup for tires? I am looking to get two 255/45-17's for the front. I'll probably go with the Bridgestone Potenza's from the Tire Rack but if someone knows a local business that can beat their prices I'm willing to go there.
