Los Angeles Group Gathering Feb.8th Nethercutt Automotive Museum

OK the next Group gathering will be at the Nethercutt Automotive Museum in Sylmar. The Museum has Free parking and we should have no problem having a Corvette area for displaying up to 50 or so cars away from general parking. The Museum has arranged a 2-hour tour for the Forum members. The museum only gives tour by reservation only and has limited us to "UPDATE" 55 VISITORS. So I will need you to respond to this post with the NUMBER of PEOPLE that are coming not cars. I will need to respond back to the Museum by January 17th. You do not need to drive your Corvette to the Museum if the weather is bad. The tours and the admission to the collection are free of charge, but the Nethercutt Collection and Museum requests that all visitors dress accordingly No jeans or shorts please and Children under 12 years of age are not permitted.
The Nethercutt collection is a world-class house of prize-winning automobiles, automobilia, mechanical musical instruments and antique furniture. The heart of this collection contains over 200 restored American and European automobiles dating from 1898 to 1982. If you have never been to the Museum please check out there web site.

The date has been set for:
February 8th 2003
Meet at the Museum no later than 9:30am
The tour starts at 10:00 AM

Yes, We will try to set-up a cruise for afterward if the weather permits.

I have called the museum and have confirmed 55 people for the tour. As of 1/16/03 I have 49 people signed up.

I may be out of town that weekend, probably not.
Pencil me in. If things get full scratch me, though. I don't want anybody bumped beacause I'm a MAYBE/PROBABLY.

Thanks Chuck, looks like I lurked just long enough to get in on the tail end of this one. Maybe we can hook up for a caravan with someone out of Orange County, or even with you Sandyeggans, depending on the route you'll travel.

I'm a Die-Hard for the Pomona Swap Meet or I'd be joining the Group for the San Diego Auto Museum this Sunday....I'm sure You'll have a good time on that one too.

Looking Forward to the Day at Nethercutt...We have heard that it is exceptional, but we've never been there. :seeya

Hi Chuck. I believe that I will not be able to make this event. My house project is nearing completion and I will be busy for the next several weekends.

If some one needs my slot, please let them have it.

We will catch another event later in the year.
