Jan. 18th. - all Corvette drag racing - who's going?
Our first points event of the season is going to be on Saturday, January 18th. @ LACR. We already have 24 drivers signed up. Who else is going? See you there!
Oh yeah, you can race for points or just fun or both or...oh well, just come on out and have a good time! :yesnod:

Went out this morning to wash my car and I noticed the drag radials had cords showing. I guess the 12 runs I got in last week ate up my blad tires. I guess this lets me out until the 17 inch MT ET Streets become available. Damm, I was trying to hold out until the end of February. I'll flip a coin to see if I want to try and race on EMT's!

Al - you might want to give John Purner at CCW a call. I was talking with him the other day regarding the possibility of my switching over to the 17" ET Streets when they come out. He made some surprising comments and has convinced me to NOT get them at this point in time.

I just got the updated forecast for Saturday from Yahoo Weather:
Palmdale, California: Saturday: Mostly sunny skies. High 63F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph.
If Brad is coming with his 9-second beast, he better make sure he packs his chute real well 'cause with temps and DA in the lower range he's definitely got a shot at new personal low e.t.'s for LACR. It will be nice to run in the desert and not have it be so hot that the VHT "melts" by noon!
Dang, now that I think about it, I better bring my driver-side bar. Last time I ran a 12.23 in 75* weather. In cool weather like this, we are going to have some fun! :steering: :auto: :hurray:
