Used batteries - what to do with them?
Hi everyone. Over the years I’ve got a bunch of batteries usually from shipping in high-performance batteries. In California we pay a core charge. Is there a way to recoup the core charge on these used batteries are no longer using? I’ve bought new ones from out of state and won’t be swapping them out at the store

If it’s car batteries we have a battery recycler in town who will pay you a core refund if you bring them into the shop! Not sure if you have these type shops out there!

Look for battery recyclers on google. they buy batteries or get credit to buy a new one.
You might get like 10 bucks or so. It aint much, I think autozone gives you like double for core with a purchase.

From O’reilly’s web site.
If you do have any old lead-acid automotive batteries sitting around, bring them in to an O’Reilly Auto Parts store for recycling and we’ll give you a $10 gift card* for each one, even if they weren’t purchased from us.

O'Reilly's or Autozone will take them and give you a $10 gift card for each. Not sure if there's a daily limit though haha.
