I was happy to finally be back on the track again!!! The car ran great and I had a blast.

I know there were a few PBs and that "miscellaneous" class keeps getting faster.

My GoPro was acting up so I don't think I got any video. Might be time for a new one or something more integrated.

See everyone at Tim's on Thursday!

Nice job out there Kevin!

While I'm certainly not the fastest, I was consistent and accumulated enough points to win the Ultimate category!!

Here's a video I put together from session 2...

Joel, It looked like you were going through 9 in second. Was that the case? Also, are you running 3.42's? Rockin' laps, for sure. But you gotta get out of groups with all the slow cars. You deserve more clean laps.

It was great seeing everyone.

Kevin, were you able to try the ramps? When I got back the ramps were stacked up and I couldn't find you.

I was in forth on 9, and yes I run 342s, but a lower 5th and 6th G-force gear in the tranny. I actually like green sometimes, less pressure. I kind of baby the c5, WAY to much into it to abuse it...

Yes, I tried them. They just weren't long enough. My back tires were still on the ground by the time my slitter started to rub. I'll have to stick with those abominations I created that you probably saw.

Thanks again for letting me give them a go. Sorry I missed you before you left, I was on the track instructing.

Fun day!

Well it sure helps to know that. Between the sonic note and your revving the crap out of the thing makes it sound like it's geared differently than either of my Vettes. That motor is amazing. But you really need to move out of the JV group.

LOL Mike, I was actually short shifting just a bit, due to a bad tach wire...

QMP built a VERY solid Motor, Stroked LS3 418 with an Aviad 4 stage dry sump, she take a licking and keeps on ticking.

Joel - You certainly have the times to be in the red group. But being first out in green has its advantages, until you catch the back of the pack...

Yes Kevin,
I've actually run the red group most of the year, but seem to feel a bit more comfortable on certain tracks in the green...

Congrats Joel on the Ultimate Class win! (and the rest of you bad asses winning your class!)

Kevin, happy to see you and car back out there working well Mike, nice times!

For me, I was 4 seconds off my pace from last two times at this track ... head just wasn't in it ... better to go home on days like that!

Hope to see most of you tomorrow at Tim's drivers party!

Oli and I agreed that the track felt a few seconds slower than it typically feels on a day as cool as this was. Not exactly sure if it was the wind or what but I was hoping for a few more seconds myself. I also took it very easy during the first session where the fastest times were done.

Well, for me it was a head trip ... I was pretty messed up all week from the BWR tragedy the Sunday prior, then with Tim and Rich mixing it up in T4 on lap 2 of session 1, not to mention my brake fade going into T3 on a 'hot lap', let's just say my confidence was not too high about the day .... regardless of track conditions
