Colorado Visitor (Jul 15)
Doing a roadtrip and will be visiting my folks in Riverside 2-5 July. Always looking for a chance to do car events. I've searched some of the Cars & Coffee events (didn't see any car shows), need to confirm what will actually happen considering it's 4th of July weekend. Would greatly appreciate some options so I can pick and choose based upon family commitments. As the sig depicts, will be enjoying topless cruises in my 2013 427 Cyber Grey Vert (CO plate YGOSLOW)...hope to meet other CF members.
PS...I did see another Riverside member post with suggestions, but again, this will be July 4th weekend so need confirmation that events will still occur.
Thx...Dave Mertz

Cars and Coffee in Aliso Viejo has been growing every week. Every Saturday 7-9. A number of Corvettes always there along with exotics, classics, hot rods, etc.

CnC is a later start than formerly and it seems 7 is optimistic.
Another choice is Donut Derelicts (Adams @ Magnolia, in Huntington Beach), for a very different mix; less exotics and more builder-type guys, but one never knows what will show up. I usually arrive 5:15-5:30. Their website speaks of the decades of existence on Sat. a.m. Very wild customs to rat rods (a loyal group of Vette drivers) but typically it more hot rods than the mega-bucks cars. I've taken the Shinoda, our Nash Rambler (5.0L Mustang GT/AOD) and my survivor '57 F100. The Nash gets the most attention!
A small SA morn gathering is also found at Pacific Coast Highway and Crown Valley; friendly bunch if only a couple dozen cars.
I should be back from DEN in the new Sube by then!
Safe trip!

Riverside cruise
Friday night 5-8 PM there's a local cruise at the Farmer Boys (Van Buren & Washington in Woodcrest) it usually has a good turn out. I'm not sure about the 4th weekend. I'll probably be there, it's a regular for me. I used to run the Pikes Peak hill climb. maybe I'll see you there. Danny Arant

Seems in the past around the 4th is light on cruises and such. Just keep an eye on the So Cal forums here and you never know what will pop it. Have a fun trip.

Shame you missed a great gathering in AV at CnC. Lots of Vettes, even a '57 Fuelie; just a couple of C4s and THREE Citroens!
One Sheriff and just a few clowns, very proud of their loud exhaust, which is NOT acceptable; not all Mustangs, either.
I looked for CO plates or some indication of your invasion, but just heard some Aussies. Hope you found UR 'fix'.
