CRAZY 8s END OF SUMMER CRUIZE - 9/20/14
That's right, Corvette Forum, your cruise director JD Butter in the building!! Off the success of our most recent Crazy Car & Social outing, and with summer car show season winding down, I'm looking to put another solid cruise on deck! And since it's my half-birthday, we needs to get serious with this one, and get a PHAT turnout!!! The plan is as follows:
We'll meet up at the haunted Unocal76 station on Pico and Barrington in West L.A. circa 11:00am. From there we cruise over to PCH, and roll up to Moonshadows, where I have already arranged reserved parking for our posse, for brunch at the beach. Then, we cruise back down PCH to Santa Monica for drinks by the beach on the rooftop at the Hotel Shangri-La.
Summer's almost over, friends, so let's take every opportunity for socializing in the sun Crazy 8s style!

Wow. . . tough crowd. PCH cruise, brunch with the waves splashing feet away, reserved classic and muscle car parking, more beachside cruising, cocktails with a great ocean view, cool peeps and sweet whips. What kind of cruise do I NEED to plan to get the Corvette Forum interested?? One where I give away gold and strippers?
Well, in any case, for anyone considering attending this sweet *** cruise, I will be needing to let Moonshadows how many spaces to reserve for us by the end of the week, so if you are planning to attend, make sure to go by the event page on FB, and RSVP, so I can get the count from one central location. Hey, folks! MAD excited about our cruise and social outing tomorrow! A few final details:
*- Due to a special event at the Hotel Shangri-La, we are changing our afternoon cocktails location to the Coast Beach Café & Bar at Shutters (1 Pico Blvd., right where Pico hits the sand) – 3:00PM
*- First meet up is at 11:00AM at Unocal 76 at Pico and Barrington in West L.A. (11675 Pico Blvd.)
*- My phone number is 323.422.6992. Please text or call if you are late or flaky, so we can wait or not wait for you at the haunted gas station.
*- If anyone coming past the Beverly Center area would like to cruise to the first meet up location together, let me know/text me by 9:45AM to meet up at our Beverly Center area meet location at 8161 Beverly Blvd. (at La Jolla).
*- Feel free to invite other classic or muscle car owning friends to cruise with us.
