Default C6 was hit today :(

Sitting at a red light, dumpy bish decides she wants to hit reverse to change lanes and her big fat azz SUV smashes into my front end.

Any recommendations as to where I can take my vette for insurance claim repair? doesn't LOOK extensive but I want my baby to look good as new. Im located in the central LA area.

I have been using Prestige Coach Craft in Marina Del Ray for 26 years. Give Miron or Cameron a call at

Tell them Lew sent you. I worked with their uncle for years.

Bummer,

I don't know any in Central L.A.. Are you referring to the downtown area?

At any rate, the two body shops that I use are both in Covina. One is Covina Collision Center and the other is Detroit Auto Body. Both do outstanding work...

I had Doug's Custom Paint and Body do my aftermarket front fascia and hood and was very pleased with the results,

(They're in Chatsworth... I don't know if that is a good distance or not)

Good luck with the repairs and do let us know who you end going to and how it turned out.

If you want it to be like new take it to Doug's Customs! He does insurance work and very easy to get along with.

No recommendations but I do offer commiserations. I had the same thing happen in my beloved '93 Corvette when some kid backed up onto the hood of the Corvette when we were at a stoplight and he decided he actually wanted to be in the other lane going the same direction. Good luck with the repairs!

So a dealership would not be a great route? Just asking cause I want corvette experienced shop to make sure its right and also get some maintenance work done while its in a shop down and out.

I want to take it somewhere where I can get more than the repairs done at the same time is what im saying.

Ah man that sucks! Hope you get it fixed soon.
Ive had great results with various Seidner Collision Center locations. Look them up. They work hand in hand with various insurance companies.
