I have a Pole Position in my car but my car isn't a daily driver. But, the PP does make driving on track a lot less work than the stock seat.

The best times and what others are running (what mods etc)...is there a lap time thread?

Just got rid of an e92 m3 and I ran
1:57:7 at Buttonwillow C13 and 1:30:9 at WSIR (KW CS, stoptech, apr aero, hankook rs3 tires) and 1:59:2 and 1:32:8 without the aero. Curious to how I do in the vette once I get used to the power!!!
What tires you running on the Zr1?

Hope this isn't weird but I would love to join you guys in the canyons In the LA area as well. Ive been doing it solo for a while, and I don't do stupid stuff like crossing into the other lane, excessive speeding etc.

Unfortunately the widest NT01 is a 315...which might be okay but typically the ZR1 runs a 335 or 345. Same way with the R-S3's and TD's..no vette sizes. I loved those on my E90 M3 but realized tire options are quite limited with the vette.

What tire was Cody running? Seems like he must have ran a street tire at GTA Atlanta based on the class he was in.

Sam,

Run a 315 NT01 up front and a 335 R888 in the rear. Works well and it helps with the understeer.

Definitely get a good seat. I installed a Recaro SPG with MTI hardware and it's like a different car. This is the vehicle I drive everyday and it's worth it

I've been a few times to Big Willow and once to Button Willow, but not lately it can be kinda expensive. Heres a vid I posted a while ago, it was my second time with my car on willow. I picked up some used tires that pretty much went bald after the first run. I really want to start going to the track again, hopefully soon.

Not at all, always looking for people to canyon with. I usually start from supercar sunday off topanga then head through mulholland. I should be there right now, but the weather sucks at the moment.

I should be going to buttonwillow august 24th with speed district. Great group not a lot of cars. Canyon is fun but you just can't go 100% or well it's not smart to at least. Check out SpeedDistrict.com.
