I know most of the track events for the Corvette Challenge are in SoCal with the exception of maybe Laguna and Spring Mountain but you guys should make a trek up to Thunderhill in Willows which is about 75 minutes north of Sacramento.

The track was recently expanded and the total combined track length is over 5 miles long. The original track has long flowing curves with some straights, and the new section is a lot tighter and technical with a total of about 22 turns. Pavement is super smooth and runoffs are fairly safe. Also, they have some really good shaded parking and it seems like they have a little breeze to keep the heat down.

I was there a couple of weeks ago with both NorCal Racing Club and Porsche Club of Golden Gate, and they both put on really good events. NCRC had a number of street and race Vettes, and it was great running with them.

Here is a video of me running in the open group with the Porsche Club, and still attempting to memorize all the different turns.
