New PB at Buttonwillow yesterday! {Video}
It was Quite hot at the track yesterday, But my CMS tuned H/C C6 ran GREAT!!
Ryne selected the Cam and did the Tune as well as a recent upgrade to an Alky Control Meth kit, then a retune., among other things...
Here's a video from session two, with Rob going off on the second or third lap. He was fine, but may need a new splitter...
Here's a few laps from session 3, with the speedo!!

Great camera angles and editing. I may have missed it but what was your best time and how did it compare with the old pavement?
I heard the track was quite slippery and a lot of cars were going off but some good rubber was probably laid down this last weekend.
Where is the rest of the Corvette Challenge download??!!

I had a few laps in the 2:03 range, a best of 203.2. I have not been to BW in a little while, and don't believe I've ever run it with my Pirreli Scubs, which I did yesterday. On a cooler day without all that weird dust on the track, I think I could drop my times a bit more. I did not push that hard, after seeing all the cars go off track, especially with a 4 hour ride back to Idyllwild on slicks...
Not sure on the rest of the challenge deal, but I thought this video came out ok, and besides it was a new PB, so I posted up!!

Congrats on the PB and thanks for sharing.
You are a brave man for driving slicks on the street. Good thing it wasn't raining like it is now here in LA.

This was a rough day. I should have backed off a bit after feeling how slippery the track was with all the uncured asphalt and lime everywhere. But I decided to just go for it and see what I could do, and well, off I went. And I will definitely need a new splitter now, I just need to figure out a better way to go off track without trashing the front end of my car every time.

It was VERY hot! At one point, as I was pitting in I saw 109* on the outside temp display
The track started out very slick. A couple of us spoke with the guy who put down the surface (he was asking for feedback) and he told us the white stuff is lime and was put there due to the heat. Once the lime was worn away by the cars, grip improved. The new surface is a mix of asphalt and rubber.
Yesterday was my first time at BW. Fun, kind of like a big go-kart track. I ran low 2:12, stock engine, Toyo R888s, typical alignment settings. Certainly not the fastest guy out there but had fun
