I was there. Didn't get a chance to watch others run as I was nearly always in cue for the next group. Got around 12 passes and I left early. Best of the day was a 12.79 @ 109 followed up with a 12.81 @ 111. I struggled with launch and thus 60' times were horrid. Also tended to have excessive 1-2 wheel spin. Still diagnosing technique and the lower mph trap speeds. I'm bone stock, as stock can get, running street tires at virtual street pressure (28-30 psi).
I'm not a benchmark to compare to however. I have much room for improvement but at least every pass there was a learning curve. Bottom line it was a blast.

Not as many as in March. Yeah, 12 passes. I was shocked when I had 5 runs by noon! I buy into two groups to increase my runs. I left at 3 pm. I likely could have done at least 4 more runs. Hell I could have had 6 more runs. I was running out of gas though! After noon or so they were done calling groups. Just get back in line and run again. Looking at my slips I had runs that were 15-20 minutes apart at times.
If I had to guess maybe 200 cars? I dunno....

Autoclub Speedway web site has the schedule for all the upcoming events.

From the web site street legals rules section:
There were some sub 10 sec cars but they may have been running under another banner and not the street legals rule set.
There were many in this class without cages.
"10-Second Rule
There is a 10-second flat ET rule. No cars quicker than 10 seconds will be allowed. (If you need an NHRA Competition License to drive your car at an NHRA Drag Strip, it is too quick for Auto Club Dragway during a Street Legal event.)"

"Roll Bars & Cages
Roll bar required in any vehicle running between 10.00 and 11.49 E.T. (convertibles between 11.00 and 13.99). Roll bar/cage structures must meet minimum NHRA standards as found in the 2004 rule book."

Yes you were , I was just curious as to what others had run...
Thanks for posting up, what do you drive?
I made a hail marry run down the mountain, and did not get there till 2:30 or so, had 7 or 8 passes in by 4:15..
A few 11.6s, best of 11.51 at 127 MPH. Did not get my line lock working till the last few runs. With a bit more practice/traction, could dropped it down a bit more.
All in all, very happy with the short session, back up the mountain in one piece. all I got was one video from the stands, which includes some drunk fool in front of me with a chainsaw dangling out the back of his pickup truck, I shot it on my way down the hill.

The cage rule was the reason I was asking. Good to know that I might not get kicked out. Thanks!

BTW I raced that cream colored Chevelle or whatever it was in your video in March. He killed me off the line but I managed to reel him in for the win.
