August 18 Corvette car show in Tacoma, WA
Classical Glass Corvette Club of Tacoma will hold a Corvette car show on Sunday, August 18th, at Friendly Chevrolet, which is located at 633 Division Avenue, in Tacoma. All Corvette owners are welcome. Entry fee is $17 and registration begins promptly at 8 AM. There will be Concours as well as Show & Shine judging, and trophies will be awarded for the first three places in each class. I would like to add that we will also have a raffle of fine items and we will be entertained by music provided by a local DJ. The afternoon awards presentations will be followed by a short tour with the destination being a local tavern/restaurant for a no-host dinner (around 5PM). See you there.

Planning on being there. Looks like great weather for the event. We plan to bring the 87 Roadster. Should be several from Mt. Hood Corvettes attending. We are really enjoying the NWACC Competition season. Have had great times at your 5-Star in the past. Hope the 5-Star with autocross comes back soon. We are having a great summer showing the car.

cannon40y - We hope to have our 5 Star event back again next year. We are currently in search of a new location for it. Glad that you're going to attend this year's car show. See you there.

I'm gonna try to get there. Hope they won't dis' my vette 'cause it's a hot rod instead of 'original'. I've steered away from vettes only shows for this reason. 'Bout time to see if anything has changed.

MasterDave - Please come and join us. We have several cars in our club that are not "stock" Corvettes. There's room in this hobby for all sorts of Corvettes.................just so it's a Corvette.
